Here is the details:

1.Project Manager.

Requirement:

  • Managing projects to programme/budget
  • Complete projects incident and injury free
  • Complete projects to agreed specification and quality
  • Manage and co-ordinate subcontractors

Knowledge and skills:

  • Good understanding of developing project programes using MS Project software
  • Production of risk assessments and production of RAMS
  • Good understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Strong customer facing skills and communication with the client and all team members throughout every project
  • Experience in demolition works
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience Project Managing Education projects
  • Experience in Design and Build Contracts
  • Strong communication skills

2.Supply Chain Development Engineer.

Requirement:

  • Manage, coach and support procurement team
  • Develop and implement processes, systems, standards and disciplines for procurement and warehousing aligned to manufacturing build processes
  • Deliver procurement strategy for manufacturing performance, in line with business objectives.
  • Manage capacity and forecast in-line with manufacturing and delivery programmes
  • Working with the purchasing and warehouse teams to develop and manage the supply base in order to achieve a seamless supply chain
  • Support individuals to allow growth within their roles and encourage advancement either within the department or other areas of the business
  • Responsible for the development / implementation of the supply chain and warehousing processes

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement manager position in a manufacturing sector, building products knowledge would be an advantage
  • Experience and ability to plan resource, lead, motivate and develop teams with strong team management skills
  • Strong negotiator/influencer able to drive down cost, maintain quality and service levels from suppliers
  • Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, implementation of SLA’s, consignment stock, Kan-Ban, engagement and management of all supplier levels, and KPI reporting
  • Commercially minded with knowledge of procurement agreements, warranties and frameworks
  • Ability to work to a budget and provide management reports on department spend / savings
  • Comprehensive experience of developing and implementing ERP / MRP systems and executing improvements and change to procurement process and procedures
  • Excellent communications and relationship management skills, operating at all levels of the business

3.Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Requirement:

  • Effectively communicate with the Commercial Manager on a daily basis advising of any issues that may affect the cost, value or margin of the projects
  • Be able to communicate Contract/Sub-Contract advice to site-based staff
  • Placement of subcontract orders to step down contractual terms and manage risk, including placement of ITT’s and ensuring notices and payment are made on time
  • Keeping accurate relevant records
  • Ensure subcontract accounts are managed within budgets and subcontracts/final accounts are signed and agreed in a timely manner
  • Collate commercial information for drafting Cost Value Reconciliations on a monthly basis to deadlines
  • Dealing with Subcontract disputes and ensuring payment notices are in place and in line with current legislation
  • Timely and properly recorded Applications to Clients
  • Producing Project Variations including tracking documents and assessment of value taken to monthly Cost Value Reconciliation document
  • Final Accounts –assessment of and timely submission of final accounts giving regular updates to the client to ensure expectations are aligned
  • Advise on and mitigate the effects of disputes – recognize potential contractual issues on site and make good records including photographs and written statements

Knowledge and skills:

  • A good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Budget handling skills
  • Excellent IT and maths skills
  • A methodical approach to work
  • Good organisational skills
  • A good understanding of building contracts terms and conditions, and their legal and operational mechanisms
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent understanding a good experience of turnkey construction projects
